About Legacy Auto Spa
Midwest #1 Premier Automotive Detailing, Ceramic Coating & Paint Correction Shop
Legacy Auto Spa is an auto detailing in Weldon Spring, Missouri. It is listed at 5777 Westwood Dr, Weldon Spring, MO 63304, which places it among the local businesses of Weldon Spring that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Auto detailing goes beyond a wash: a full detail typically includes clay bar decontamination, machine polishing to remove swirl marks, a sealant or wax, and a deep interior clean with shampooed carpets and conditioned leather. Detail shops price by vehicle size and condition, and a full interior and exterior detail takes most of a day. Ceramic coatings are a hardened liquid layer applied after paint correction that lasts years rather than weeks and makes washing easier; paint protection film (PPF, or clear bra) is a self-healing urethane wrap that stops rock chips on the hood, bumper and mirrors. Window tint shops apply dyed, carbon or ceramic film to cut heat and glare, subject to each state's visible light transmission limits.

Weldon Spring is in Missouri, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Weldon Spring follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The SUV looks fantastic. Shane makes sure you stay up to date on what's happening. If something pops up while they're working on your vehicle, he'll let you know. An honest assessment. They are very skilled craftsmen who take pride in their work. A great experience.

I contacted Legacy Auto Spa specifically about a rotor/brake dust issue and sent photos before scheduling. The entire reason for the appointment was the condition shown in those photos. After reviewing the photos, I was told the service would be priced the same as an exterior wash with the wheels included. I specifically asked whether all four rotors would be addressed, followed up about rotor cleaning, and asked whether the front wheels would need to be removed to thoroughly clean the rotor vents. I was told that with the proper products the wheels would not need to come off. Because I am not a car expert (though I have a general baseline understanding), I originally contacted the shop to determine what could realistically be addressed. Based on our conversations, I relied on the expertise I was being given and understood that the rotor issue I originally reached out about could be addressed. After the service, the rotor condition that prompted the appointment remained. When I raised my concerns, the explanation shifted to discussions about wheel cleaning, calipers, tire shine, and exterior detailing. However, those were never the reason I made the appointment. I own a 2006 Porsche 911 in exceptionally good condition for its age that I wanted ceramic coated to preserve its finish and make it easier to care for. I chose Shane to do it and I haven’t regretted it. He convinced me not to cut any corners so I gave him the go ahead to detail the car inside and out including the frunk and engine compartment in addition to paint correction and ceramic coating. He even touched up a small scratch that’s been bothering me for years. When complete, it looked like a new car off the showroom floor. Thanks Shane for a first class job! Expensive but worth the cost.

Shane does an amazing job. The attention to detail is unmatched. I thought my engine bay was unrecoverable but he made it look brand new. 14 years and 305k+ miles on my truck, and he made the interior shine like I’d never seen. The value for the work he does is amazing. Absolutely will be coming back for anything I need in the future

I first heard about Chris and his shop through clients who had their cars ceramic coated there. When I saw how incredible their rides looked—and how easy they were to keep clean—I knew I had to give him a shot. My daily workhorse is a 2024 Chevy 3500 High Country dually that I use for car shows and hauling cars I buy out of state. Honestly, it had gone way too long without a proper cleaning. I called Chris, told him to take his time, and do everything. He absolutely killed it—the truck looked unreal when he was done. Not long after, I picked up a 2017 Grand Sport Corvette that needed some serious love. Chris got it in right away, and he and his team brought it back to life—it looked brand new when they were finished. The attention to detail is unreal. I even get a kick out of the vacuum lines in the carpet—it’s like fresh stripes in your lawn, and it tells you the job was done right. Here’s the bottom line: if you’re cheap and just want the lowest price, keep moving. Legacy is about quality, integrity, and taking pride in the work. I’ll gladly pay to have my rides taken care of by people who actually give a damn. Chris and his crew have already earned my loyalty—I’ve got my siste
